One Pot Skillet Spaghetti recipe is a quick and easy weeknight dinner! Everyone loves spaghetti and this one won’t disappoint. This homemade spaghetti is prepared in one skillet for a one pot meal! The spaghetti noodles are cooked right in the homemade pasta sauce with ground beef which gives it an amazing flavor!

I haven’t even mentioned the clean-up situation which gives this One Pot Spaghetti even more bonus points. One pot = fewer dishes and that’s the sort of math I love! I don’t know about you but I HATE dishes. This is why I love my Instant Pot Spaghetti for quick meals too!

Let’s talk about the homemade sauce for a minute because it’s so not scary to make! You won’t be standing in the kitchen chopping endless veggies because it uses mostly pantry ingredients like Contadina tomato paste, spices like chili powder oregano, garlic salt and a few fresh ingredients like ground beef, onion and Parmesan cheese.

Skillet Spaghetti is a wonderful recipe that is very efficient. The spaghetti pasta cooks right in the sauce. That means you don't have to boil a big pot of water to cook the pasta. You'll love this simple five ingredient recipe and it will probably become a regular dish on your meal rotation.

  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp garlic salt
  • 7 oz Spaghetti
  • 2 Tbsp dried minced onion
  • 2 Tbsp chili powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp oregano
  • 1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 3 c. water
  • 2 3/4 c. tomato juice
  • 1 6 oz can Contadina tomato paste

Instructions:

  1. First, In a skillet, cook ground beef until no longer pink. Drain greased off of hamburger.
  2. Second, Add water, juice, tomato paste and seasonings and bring to a boil.
  3. Reduce heat and add spaghetti. Cover and simmer on low heat for 30 minutes, stirring frequently or until spaghetti is cooked to al dente. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and serve.
